DFA, Design For America, is a network of student-led studios creating local and social impact through interdisciplinary design.
Design for America is a group dedicated to creating a social impact through engineering and design. We find new ways to approach old problems by creating innovative solutions that make the world a better place. We love making a difference and we think that design can help us do that.
As a group, we organize interdisciplinary project teams that partner with local organizations to solve community issues, campus-wide workshops to teach skills ranging from 3D printing to graphic design, and a huge Designathon to promote serving your community through design to all college students. Through Design for America, we hope that enthusiasm in design and engineering will grow so that everyone can be empowered to make a difference.
