Gather around kids, let’s take a trip back to a time of uncertainty and chaos. A time where turtle necks were encouraged to reach higher and where floral prints could freely mingle with argyle. A time so mysterious and hush hush that it only lives on through alcohol-induced anecdotes and photo albums hidden under a layer of dust in that old scary attic.

I can tell that you can see where I’m going with this, I’m talking the OGs of the 80s: Moms in Christmas Sweaters. Yes, our own ma’mas had quite a life before giving us ours, and Boston University's Aural Fixation is welcoming the public this SATURDAY to take a closer look at our own mothers' past holiday-party shenanigans. Photographs have been unearthed and the original sweaters have been dusted off, so we are ready to thoroughly embarrass our moms!

So come on down to AF’s Winter A Capella concert for that blast to the past you’ve been craving.
