Sign up for our Annual Culture show! This year it's on Saturday February 20th! Practices will start the week of January 25th. Sign Up here and dance with your PSBC Pamilya! Want to be a part of the planning behind the scenes? Work with members of the Executive Board on one of our committees!

Description of Dances Below:

Banga
This traditional dance utilizes pots, which the dancers carry and balance. It is open to females.

Cariñosa
In this traditional partner dance, women dance with fans, while men dance with handkerchiefs. It is open to males and females.

Singkil
This traditional dance tells the story of a prince, a princess, and a slave girl. In addition, women play the part of the fan girls and step and dance between bamboo sticks as men rhythmically clap the sticks. It is open to males and females.

Pandanggo sa Ilaw
In this dance, men and women dance together with small lights. It is open to males and females.

Pangalay
Dancers use their arms and hands expressively in this dance while wearing gold nails on their fingers. It is open to females.

Maglalatik
This year, we will welcome FEMALES to join maglalatik! Dancers secure coconut halves to their bodies and tap them against each other. It is open to males and females.

Idaw
This dance portrays a hunting ritual in which warriors listen for the sacred Idaw bird. It is open to males.

Tinikling
In this popular dance, dancers jump and dance between two rhythmically clapped bamboo sticks. It is open to males and females.

And of Course - We will also have a modern set consisting of Modern Boys, Modern Girls, and Modern Couples!
