District One, ISSI, and NU Barkada present Sosyal: Masskara Festival. MassKara is an annual celebration that takes place in Bocolod City, Philippines every October. This festive celebration began in times of hardship as a way to show resilience despite any tragedy. People in colorful costumes and masks parade the streets in one large fiesta. Barkada's MassKara will pull from these elements with food, Filipino line dancing, and many masks for patrons to decorate. Come join us in learning more about Filipino culture!
