We, the Suffolk University Best Buddies chapter,
would like to invite you to our biggest event of the year (yay!), Spread the Word to End the Word.
It will be taking place on March 4th, from 5:30-9pm, in the Law School Function Room. This event will be dedicated to spread awareness about using the R-word. The R-word is the word 'retard(ed)'. The R-word hurts because it is exclusive. It's offensive. It's derogatory. Our campaign asks people to pledge to stop saying the R-word, as a starting point toward creating more accepting attitudes and communities for all people.
At this event, we are aiming to have 100 attendees. This will be a night of speeches, dances, singing, music, stories, food, drinks, dessert, and inclusion.
Must RSVP: email@example.com
