Jess is a composer and arranger, specializing in film and advertising. She holds a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music, where she was honored with the Alan Silvestri Film Scoring Scholarship. Upon completion, she moved to Los Angeles, where she immediately fell into the world of advertising, writing demos for companies such as Nike, Comcast, HP, Reebok, and more. She also is currently working on several short films and a feature film, Contrived, due to be released Summer 2016. In addition to to composing, Jess is passionate about bridging the gap between film composer and filmmaker. She has spent the last year developing a course to address the need for better communication and more efficient workflow, and has begun to teach her ideas at prominent film schools such as USC and UCLA.
