Sahra Vang Nguyen is a writer, creative producer and entrepreneur currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She has served as the Director of the Writing Success Program at the University of California, Los Angeles where she helped undergraduate students develop their critical thinking and self-empowerment through the writing process. She has produced and filmed a documentary series about NYC entrepreneurs called, "Maker's Lane," which celebrates trailblazers in the entrepreneurial spirit of the American Dream. Currently, Sahra continues her passion for storytelling as a Digital Contributor for NBC News, blogger for The Huffington Post and owner of Lucy's Vietnamese Kitchen in Bushwick, New York.
