Committee Descriptions
Comedy: The CAB Comedy committee works together to select a lineup of some of the nation’s top comedians for our Fall and Spring comedy shows. Committee members assist in the production and marketing of the shows and often get to work with the comedians themselves the day of the show.
Concerts: The CAB Concerts committee is responsible for bringing the hottest new musical entertainment to the Bentley community. Our main event is Spring Day, Bentley’s end of the year festival with two or more well-known, popular artists.
Box Office: The Box Office committee is responsible for acquiring tickets and selling them to the Bentley Community. Events we get tickets to are Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins games and we are always looking for ideas as to what else to get tickets to.
Sports and Recreation: The Sports and Recreation committee deals with planning and running different physical activities, such as wiffle ball tournaments or basketball games. Our events include Fenway Bentley, fun- filled tailgates before the football games and paintball excursions, to name a few.
Traditions: The Traditions committee is responsible for putting on the large traditional events at Bentley, including: Homecoming, Super Bingo (expensive, big ticket prizes) and Spring Day, the biggest event held on Bentley’s campus.
Event of the Month: The Event of the Month committee provides innovative events each month for students on campus. In the past the committee has devised and put on events such as Casino nights, Cash Cab, The Newlywed Game, Winter Wonderland events and more!
Game Show: Due to the overwhelming popularity of Game Show centered events among the Bentley community, this committee was created to put on game show and tv show centered events. Some of the signature events may include Man vs. Food, Dancing with the Stars, and Amazing Race.
