The Emmanuel College Psychology Club is a group that strives to encourage a strong community interest in the field of psychology, as well as the involvement of students in understanding the human mind -- and the growing importance of mental health -- in a fun, interactive setting.
By attending general meetings, Psychology Club members guarantee themselves the most up-to-date information about events and news from the Psychology Department! In the past, the Psychology Club has hosted movie nights, Valentine's Day parties, an 'End of the World' party, museum trips, benefit concerts, and Criminal Minds watch parties.
Off campus, the club participates annually in the Strides Against Stigma walk to raise money for Families for Depression Awareness and fight the stigmas of depressive disorders and has attended the EPA meeting in NYC on an overnight trip. This past year, the club returned to NYC to visit the Ground Zero Museum Workshop, 9/11 Memorial, and Natural History Museum.
