The Harvard African Students Association (HASA) is a student organization at Harvard College committed to nourishing cultural, intellectual, political and economic awareness about the African continent.

The Harvard African Students Association (HASA), founded in 1977, is a student organization at Harvard College committed to nourishing cultural, intellectual, political and economic awareness about the African continent.

We are the Harvard community for students from Africa, connected to Africa, or interested in Africa. Anyone who is intrigued by lively debates, art shows, cultural shows, music, and African cuisine will find a welcoming home at HASA.

We also organize various cultural and promotional events to build community and foster collaboration amongst African students and those interested in Africa, and to encourage awareness of Africa within our Harvard community and in the greater Boston area, ultimately contributing back our continent.
