The Harvard Organ Society welcomes all those who love the organ and its music within the Harvard community.

The Harvard Organ Society welcomes all those who love the organ and its music. Members include Harvard undergraduates and graduate students along with others in the greater Harvard community. Many members actively study the organ at Harvard under the direction of Christian Lane, playing the 1929 Skinner Opus 793 and 2012 Fisk Opus 139 in Memorial Church, as well as the 1958 Flentrop in Adolphus Busch Hall.

The Organ Society regularly organizes visits to organs throughout the Boston area and New England, and holds a weekly organ class for its students. This past year, its members also participated in masterclasses with Olivier Latry, Madame Marie-Louis Langlais, and Nathan Laube.

The Organ Society hosts a weekly lunchtime recital series on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in Adolphus Busch Hall and a biweekly concert series in Memorial Church on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm during the university’s semester, and its students can be heard often as part of these series.
