Tufts' HIV/AIDS Initiative is a group that is overseen by Tufts University's Leonard Carmichael Society. Tufts HIV/AIDS Initiative promotes and encourages HIV/AIDS awareness within the Tufts University Campus, as well as local and global community service. Its major events includes a series of panels and performances for World Aids Day, as well as assisting to co-sponsor event such as Tufts Hip Hop for Social Change and Tufts Sex Fair. It also works to provide support and donations to off campus organizations such as Face Aids and Youth on Fire.
