Unlike coeducational institutions where women's teams often take a back seat to the men's programs, Simmons gives its "Sharks" the best practice times, outstanding equipment and facilities, funding, and the undivided support of nearly 1,900 students who cheer on the athletes and encourage them to succeed in a spirited environment.
