Muslim Student Association Representing the Muslim Students on campus.
The Suffolk Muslim Student Association is a close-knit and friendly community which aims to assist Suffolk Muslims with their practice of Islam and endeavors to promote understanding between Muslims and people of other faiths on campus. Representing nearly one hundred Muslims, the Suffolk-MSA holds events year-round that promote peace, brotherhood, and the Islamic message. The MSA is directed by the Executive Committee, which is elected each April to organize and run the various events and projects throughout the year.
The Suffolk-MSA also maintains a prayer room with daily prayers. During Ramadan, the interfaith office organizes daily iftaars (break fast), and try to attend taraweeh at a local mosque together.
