Tufts China Care is an independent, student run club at Tufts University, and a recognized chapter under the China Care Foundation, Inc.
We are a group of dedicated students working together to improve the lives of orphans with special medical needs living in the China Care Home and Half the Sky's orphanages. For our immediate community, we strive to help local Chinese adoptees connect with their birth culture and raise awareness on campus for international adoption and the situation in China in regards to abandoned children.
Our main activities include our Dumplings playgroup, fundraising, mentoring, movie screenings, speaker events, and Tufts' only annual fashion show. In addition, Tufts students are granted the opportunity to travel to China and volunteer in the China Care Home over the summer.
