The MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players are thrilled to present The Gondoliers, or The King of Barataria.
Marco and Giuseppe Palmieri, the pride of the Venetian gondoliers and staunch Republicans, have finally decided to choose their brides. Unfortunately, it's only after the weddings that they learn that one of them is really the King of Barataria, and was already married, in infancy, to the daughter of the Duke of Plaza-Toro, the beautiful Casilda. Three wives, two husbands...and who is the real king?
