The holidays can be a challenging and lonely time when you’re locked up and away from loved ones, so we'll be decorating and sending holiday cards to LGBTQ folks who are currently in prison - with a goal of sending 80 cards!! This event is one of many happening all across the country as part of a national effort organized by Black & Pink, a Boston-based organization commited to abolishing the prison industrial complex. We'd love to have your help in spreading some love to prisoners this holiday season.

There will be lots of snacks, drinks, and card-making supplies. If you'd like more info on ways that you can find an LGBTQ prisoner penpal through Black & Pink, let our hosts know. Please bring bring a friend or two, extra card making supplies (no glitter or glue please) and a donation to help pay for postage if possible (postage is $0.49/card).

If you are not able to make it, please consider donating to Black & Pink today by visiting http://www.blackandpink.org/donate/

See you on Sunday December 6th!
